Recently I had talked to Toby Cisneros about building the Philadelphia Chapter of the Graphic Artists Guild. One of the first things we discussed was branding this chapter with it’s own identity while keeping the original brand of the GAG national organization. After many, many sketches this is what I came up with. I really love the artistic nature of Philadelphia and the old arts that are all over the city. A lot of the statues in Philadelphia come from the same time period and have a similar look in the style of the face. The round architecture you see there I borrowed from the City Hall in center city. I then added the patriotic eagle and of course the Liberty Bell. I hope we can integrate this with the GAG and really create a presence with the Philadelphia chapter. But until I hear from them I made this into a STUDIO_GRAPHICS tshirt.
